We are a Spirit filled church located in Brockville, ON. Our focus is to grow in Christ, build His Kingdom and to be an encouragement to each other. We are disciples making disciples for the Kingdom of God.
We believe in the transformative power of faith and community, striving to create an environment where everyone feels welcome and valued. Our services are vibrant and spirit-led, filled with heartfelt worship and inspiring messages that aim to deepen our relationship with God.
We offer various ministries and programs for all ages, including youth groups, bible studies, and outreach initiatives, to ensure that every member has the opportunity to grow and serve. Whether you're new to faith or have been walking with Christ for years, there's a place for you here.

Pastor Robert Lang
Pastor Robert Lang moved to Brockville in 2019 with his wife Rachel and three children. He then planted Ascent Church in February of 2020, right before the first Covid lockdown. Little did he know what 2020 would bring but God has been faithful to Him, his family and this church!
Pastor Rob has been in the ministry all of his adult life. He began evangelizing at the age of 19 across Canada and the United States. At the age of 25, he became the Pastor of the church he attended in Saskatchewan where he and his wife then pastored for the next 10 years.
Pastor Lang is a man of faith who preaches the Word of God with conviction. He leads with love and compassion and his heart is to make disciples of Jesus Christ who will impact this are for Christ.
Our Culture
We love the truth, even when it hurts and we desire to present the truth to people in the love of God. The Word of god is truth and we love it.
Ephesians 4:15
Ascent is a Pastor led church and we love and honour our leadership. We understand the importance of delegated authority and that God does things decently and in order. There is a blessings that flows through the whole body when we walk in these principles.
Hebrews 13:17
We understand there is nothing more important in someone’s life than the saving of their soul. We are on a mission to preach Jesus and see people born again.
Mark 16:15
Ascent is a place where people are met with kindness and respect and where they feel loved. We understand everyone isn’t in the same place and we love and value people from different backgrounds and culture. God is perfect but we understand people are not.
Luke 10:27
Our heart is to train people up in the Lord, loving and valuing each other’s giftings. To create a healthy environment where people can grow into all they can be for the Lord. We are passionate about seeing Jesus’ work in people’s lives. We love people where they are at while encouraging growth and maturity.
Matthew 28:19
We love to worship passionately and freely. We know worship creates an atmosphere where the presence of God is manifest. We ae hungry for God. Where we are at is not enough, we want to go deeper.
John 4:24
Where there is faith in God, He will work miracles, signs and wonders in and through the body of Christ. We believe Jesus is the same as yesterday, today and forever. Because of this healings, deliverance and miracles are what we live in. We walk in victory in Christ as our Great Champion.
Mark 9:23
We believe giving is our privilege and we are honoured to do so. At Ascent Church, we believe in the promises of God. He will protect what we have, provide what we need, and pour out blessings we cannot contain.
2 Corinthians 9:6-7
We believe we are called to serve one another and to do so with love. We are honoured to serve in His Kingdom and though we are children of God, the posture of heart is to serve. We serve with excellence in character, submission and humility.
Matthew 20:26
We are a church that thinks big and has vision. We contend for our city and our nation. We believe the church is salt and light in the Earth and carries great influence. We are world changers.
